The challenge

The Borough ran Borough Hall, the DPW, and the Police Department as three disconnected locations, with inter-department communication that was a nightmare and a core server over 20 years old. For a town of roughly 12,000 residents, that meant slow responses and systems nowhere near current State and FBI standards for handling criminal-justice data.

What we did

We migrated all three locations, Borough Hall, DPW, and the Police Department, to the cloud and onto one modern, centrally monitored system, so departments finally share information cleanly and the town responds faster. We compressed roughly 20 years of overdue upgrades into about four, bringing the environment fully into compliance with State and FBI requirements, including a passed CJIS audit for the Police Department.
